A full length (50 mins) Puppet and Music show intended for an audience 13+

Premiered at the International Animated Objects Puppet Festival in 2024 in Calgary - and has since toured to Almonte Ontario, Saskatoon Saskatchewan, Winnipeg Manitoba and again in Calgary Alberta in 2025.

One For Sorrow, Two For Joy is a puppet extravaganza of sight and sound. It features 30+ hand crafted puppets, and live music from an all a original musical score. The puppets and music tell the story of Willow Mae, a woman who grew up on the wind swept Canadian prairies in the early 20th century. As an only child she was left at her aging Grandparents farm at the age of six. Willow Mae ran free and wild, cavorting with Gophers and Magpies. Real or imagined these childhood friends followed her through her unconventional life.

This story was created to bring a spotlight on the Canadian prairies with a historical view of the lives of women in the early 20th century. It was a time where choices and rights for women were limited -but a strong wind of change was blowing across the land.

The Bench

A puppet show for the times we live in.

The Bench is a 25 minute puppet show intended for an adult audience but enjoyable for the whole family.

This short show told exclusively with puppets and music tells the story of a city bench and who has the right to use it or not.

First created as a 10 minute short for a puppet fringe festival called OUF in Montreal in 2016, it was later reworked into a longer (25 minutes) whimsical piece for the International Festival of Animated Objects in Calgary Alberta.

It has since toured to Vancouver BC and Calgary Alberta.
